Good evening everyone. I realize sp.e of you may have thought I disappeared. It has been over a month since I last posted on my blog. But nope, I’m still alive and kicking. The holidays were so hectic that I barely found time to sleep let alone write a post here.
But they are over. Well almost. We still have New Years Eve to get through. I know everyone makes New Years’ resolutions. Some even keep them.
I personally think the trick to keeping them is to have realistic goals. Things you can reach eith a little work. Nothing so far out of reach that to achieve them would be a miracle.
Also, it helps to have a support group or person to continue to drive you toward your goals. Someone that will boost you up and encourage you to do your best even when you start falling behind or dragging your feet.
And most importantly you have to WANT to fulfill your set goals. If you really don’t want to do something, you will find every excuse not to do it. Whether it be to lose weight, eat healthier, quit smoking, etc.
My personal goals are simple. We’ll maybe not simple but certainly achievable.
#1: Lose not only weight but inches. I am to do this by exercising and eating a little better. Already I’ve been working out at work on my breaks and not snacking as much. I’ve even but back on my pop intake.
#2: Finish book 3 in my Perfect Order Series and start on the 4th. Possibly get it finished as well. I’m on chapter 6 but have hits standstill bc of the holidays and my own lack of motivation. But I plan to get back on track.
Whatever your goals, know you can achieve them. You just have to have motivation and the want-to.
