4 days and counting until the big night…..Hopefully by now you have made your plans and got your costume and all of your delicious treats done. If you haven’t and you have no idea what to dress up as or make for treats, don’t worry. Just check out my earlier posts this month. They are filled to the brim with delicious recipes and cool costumes ideas. There is even a HUGE playlist of songs to choose from to rock your Halloween party. We have our costumes all planned out. My husband and I are going to be simple scarecrows. The kids are as follows: 1st kid: pirate, 2nd kid: too old to dress up, and 3rd kid:a fortune teller. In the meantime, my husband and I have made the following goal: Watch one scary movie a night every night this week and then finish Halloween night out with as many Freddy Krueger movies as we can watch while stuffing ourselves with sugary treats (after trick or treating of course!). So last night-Sunday the 26th-it was Jennifer’s Body.
Jennifer’s Body (starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried) is a creepy movie about a nerdy, reserved bookworm Needy Lesnicki, and arrogant, conceited cheerleader Jennifer Check are best friends, though they share little in common. They share even less in common when Jennifer mysteriously gains an appetite for human blood after a disastrous fire at a local bar. As Needy’s male classmates are steadily killed in gruesome attacks, the young girl must uncover the truth behind her friend’s transformation and find a way to stop the bloodthirsty rampage before it reaches her own boyfriend Chip.
I like this movie just because it is not totally disgusting-like Saw-but it has a suspenseful edge to it and makes you wonder: how far would you go to stop your best friend?
I don’t know what our creepy movie for tonight will be be but I’m sure it will be full of suspense and Halloween creepiness.
